It may be possible to receive broadband at speeds of 105 Mbps from Comcast as early as next week. Oddly enough Comcast has not widely promoted this but a customer has posted a copy of his most recent bill with the following statement on it.

iTee & iDress: iPad As Clothing Accessory
Have you purchased the iPad yet? Need a good yet fashionable way to carry it around? The latest option is the new iTee or iDress brought to you by iClothing. Now you can look great and carry your Mac tablet around with ease.
The unisex iTee is available in all sizes and comes in either white or black. The protective, almost invisible, front pouch stores and carries your iPad with you on the move. It is made from 100% cotton, and of course is machine washable.
The iDress is a black, above the knee, short sleeved dress with a built in protected pouch as well. They claim that even with the iPad stored in the pouch it does not hinder movement whatsoever. The iDress is made from cotton sateen. Although they are available for purchase the site is Australian. Converted to US dollars it looks like the iDress will set you back $73.99 and the iTee will run you $36.98.
Win Some Cyber Clean for your Dirty Electronics
Electronics surround our lives these days. Between my iPhone, my iPad, my MacBook, my iPod, the controls in my car, my GPS, etc., there isn’t much time I spend away from electronics. There exists, however, a rather annoying flaw to all these screens and crevasses… dust particles, dirt, grime, etc. Luckily, there’s Cyber Clean, the gooey wonder material that will get in those hard to reach places and battle your dirt to the death. Today, we’re giving away a pack of Cyber Clean for electronics and a pack for auto.
HOW TO WIN SOME CYBER CLEAN
All you’ve got to do to win is simply post a comment below telling us what you plan to clean and exactly how dirty it is.
We’ll choose one comment at random on Thursday, May 27 at 11:59pm. Then we’ll send the winner a message to let them know they’ve won, so make sure to use your real email address or we’ll have to choose someone else. Good Luck!

2010 Windpower Conference Blows the Roof Off
WINDPOWER 2010 blew the roof off the Dallas Convention Center last week. As the world’s largest wind energy conference, WINDPOWER drew nearly 20,000 attendees and over 1,300 exhibitors.
Highlighting the speakers was former president George W. Bush. According to Denise Bode, CEO of the American Wind Energy Association:
“We were thrilled to hear former President George W. Bush envision a secure American energy future to end our addiction to oil, with wind energy on the leading edge, powering not only our homes and businesses but also our cars. President Bush shared Texas’s recipe for wind energy success, including new transmission, a competitive electricity market, and reasonable taxes and permitting. He noted that when we diversify our energy supply, we create jobs. And finally, he noted that consumers often prefer to use wind power when they have the choice, confirming results from a recent AWEA poll which found that 89 percent of American voters believe America should develop more wind power.”
Next year’s conference will be held in Anaheim, California in May 2011.

iPad and Velcro: A Perfect Match
At this point, we’ve seen a lot of people do a lot of cool things with their iPad. Some have been geeky, and some have been just plain cool. One user asked the question, “What do you get when you cross an iPad with a few strips of velcro?” His answer… well, he made a pretty awesome video to show the possibilities.
Now, you may not want to go trying this at home without trying it on some less valuable test subjects first. Then again, I’m pretty sure this video was made to prove a concept rather than convince everyone to stick some iPads up on their walls.
The video was posted by Jesse Rosten and he explains:
Two of mankind’s greatest inventions, together at last. Note: this is an exploration of what is possible, not necessarily what is practical. Tweet from the street at your own risk!

Atlantis Space Shuttle Has Grounded For Good
With six astronauts on board, returning from it’s 12-day mission from the International Space Station, the Atlantis has landed back on Earth successfully. This mission marks the shuttle’s thirty-second and final trip over a 25-year career (logging a cool 120 million miles in total).
For NASA, the shuttle was the fourth in the series and has spent 294 days in orbit, circled the Earth 4,648 times, carried 189 astronauts, flown to Mir Station 7 times and been to the ISS 11 times. There were 1,200 guests on-hand at Kennedy Space Center to witness the historic landing.
