$300K Cellphone is Worlds Most Expensive

There is not much in the average American’s life that they will spend $300,000 on aside from a house. A few lucky of us may get a nice car or a yacht but never would I imagine spending that much on a cell phone. The Celsius X VI II LeDIX is an over complicated clam-shell cellphone that is absurdly priced. Almost as crazy as spending $26,000 on a computer mouse.

The phone has a flying tourbillon based mechanical watch movement built into the lid. Each time the phone is opened and closed the movement powers the watch for an additional 3 hours, which a total of 120 hours of reserve. The phone has a number of titanium components as well as ebony and carbon fiber.

With only 28 of them being produced you may find it hard to grab one, that is if you have the $300K. The phone has about 600 mechanical parts. Some of the specs are it is tri-band GSM phone developed with Sagem Wireless, a 3.2 megapixel auto-zoom with flash camera, a 2.2 inch OLED and a battery life of 3.5 hours talk time.

Sure, it has parts of ebony and carbon fiber, but only 3.5 hours of talk time? It seems like this phone is meant more for museum display than day-to-day use.
I'd like to know how many of these actually really sell in the future. No doubt, someone will waste their money on it; just look at how many people bought the 13 miles/gallon, hard to park Hummer (which will no longer be manufactured, btw).
