It can be really hard to shop for some people. Especially the pickiest of your friends and family. So what do you do? You turn to practical gifts and call it a day. Well, what could be more practical than the gift that makes sure they even show up to your holiday shindig?

These days, millions of people have GPS units for their car. But, everyday new roads are being established, so what could be better and more practical than a map update? Not much.

Here are six reasons to give a map update for the holidays:

All I know is that I don’t like getting lost so if anyone would like to get me a map update for me, I’m 100% fine with that.

For some, camping is about experiencing the great outdoors, going on hikes, “roughing it” and spending quality time with family and friends. For others, it’s the perfect excuse to do nothing but sit back and drink beer all day long. That being said, here are a few gadgets that we think will aid in the drinking, the drunk and the hangover.

Coolers full of beer are nice, but ice packs go warm and often the cans do too. Besides, there’s nothing better than drinking draft. While there are many keg dispensers on the market, we decided to go with the Avanti 5L Mini Beer Keg as it’s designed to be portable, it holds camping-perfect 5L mini-kegs, and can be easily hooked up to any portable camping generator. Father of GPS, Roger L. Easton Inducted to Inventors Hall of Fame

Roger L. Easton, pictured at left, is considered to be the pioneer of modern day GPS. As testament to his contribution to the technology is his induction to the National Inventors Hall of Fame. He began his work at the Naval Research Laboratory in 1943. He also helped with the MINITRACK system which was the very first satellite tracking technology.
